Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC) and the visiting Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), observed Gilbert's volleyball team top Airport by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles go into the battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Gray Collegiate Academy achieved victory over Aiken (Aiken, SC), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Eagles now own a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Brookland-Cayce for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23.
