In Thursday's league test, the host Bear Grass Charter Bears volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Hobgood Charter Raiders.

With the win, Bear Grass Charter improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Bears host Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Perquimans lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Camden County (Camden, NC)

Next, the Raiders meet the Ocracoke Dolphins (Ocracoke, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, September 25. Hobgood Charter will attempt to advance on its 7-5 season record.
