Kern Valley Broncs (Lake Isabella, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the host Boron Bobcats (Boron, CA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Broncs (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Frazier Mountain (Lebec, CA). The Falcons enter the challenge with a 8-3 record.

Next, the Bobcats meet the Mammoth Huskies (Mammoth Lakes, CA) in a test, on Tuesday, September 23. Boron will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Huskies go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Bishop Union (Bishop, CA).
