In Thursday's league challenge, the host Emerald Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Southside Tigers.
The Vikings (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wren for a test on Tuesday, September 23. Southside will face a Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-2.
