In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Goochland Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Western Albemarle Warriors.
The Bulldogs (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Louisa County (Mineral, VA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Louisa County went down by Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albemarle for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Western Albemarle will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-0.
