In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marlington Dukes volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Minerva Lions.
The Dukes (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, OH). The Quakers enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record.
The Lions now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Indian Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Minerva will face a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH). The Braves record now stands at 12-1.
