Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA) and the host St. George's Dragons (Spokane, WA), observed Reardan's volleyball team hold off St. George's by a count of 2-1.

The Screaming Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.

The Dragons now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kettle Falls for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. St. George's will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
