West Bladen Knights (Bladenboro, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Bladen improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Knights travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 7-4.

The Stallions now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Whiteville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 23. South Columbus will meet a Wolfpack team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-9.
