Christ Covenant Spartans (Winterville, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Christ Covenant advances its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to The Oakwood School (Greenville, NC) to play the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 13-1. The Oakwood School won 8-2 in their recent league outing against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC)

Next, the Cyclones clash with the Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC) in a game, on Friday, September 19. Community Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 4-4 non-league Coastal Brigade (Newport, NC).
