Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Hickory nudges Conneaut Area

The Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) soccer edged the host Conneaut Area Eagles (Linesville, PA), 3-2 in Thursday's league contest.

Next, the Hornets battle the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 20. Hickory will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Lancers enter the contest with a 8-3 record after their 6-0 league win over South Side (Hookstown, PA).

With the loss, Conneaut Area moves to 2-5 on the year. The Eagles host Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA) to encounter the Bison in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 24. The Bison go into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
