Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Galeton Tigers (Galeton, PA) and the visiting Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA), saw Galeton's soccer squad hold off Coudersport by a count of 3-2.

The Tigers (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Troy (Troy, PA). The Trojans come into the PIAA District IV-AA match with a 1-11 record. In their last match, Troy was tipped by Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA), 5-0, in a non-league match.

The Falcons now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Brookville for a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. Coudersport will meet a Raiders team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Shamokin (Rural Valley, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
