In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Gaylord Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 4-2 win over the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.
The Blue Devils (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Boyne City (Boyne City, MI). The Ramblers enter the non-league outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Boyne City by Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI), 8-0, in a league test.
The Oilers now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Freeland for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 4-1 league win over Garber (Essexville, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 8-5.
