Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) and the visiting Highlands Golden Rams (Natrona Heights, PA), saw Shady Side Academy's soccer squad prevail over Highlands by a score of 5-1.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA). The Trojans enter the WPIAL AA 2 battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, North Catholic tipped Valley (New Kensington, PA), 11-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Golden Rams confront the Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 22. Highlands will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA).
