In Thursday's league challenge, the Rock Church Lions (Franklin, VA) soccer squad overwhelmed the host New Life Academy Bobcats (Elizabeth City, NC), by a margin of 7-0.
The Lions now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Victory Christian for a challenge on Friday, September 26.
With the loss, New Life Academy moves to 1-3 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. The Colts enter the contest with a record of 8-5. Albemarle School won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
