Oakwood/Catlin Comets (Fithian, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL), 7-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Oakwood/Catlin advances its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Comets travel to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL) to clash with the Sabers in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Sabers come into the test with a record of 8-3. St. Thomas More won 5-0 in their recent league test against Monticello (Monticello, IL)

The Hilltoppers now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Blue Ridge for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Schlarman will clash with a Knights team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
