Nebraska High School Softball - Arlington held off by Yutan-Mead

September 18, 2025: Yutan, NE 68073

In Thursday's league test, the Yutan-Mead Patriots (Yutan, NE) softball squad got by the visiting Arlington Eagles (Arlington, NE), by a count of 2-1.

Next, the Patriots meet the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Yutan-Mead will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 8-10 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Seward (Seward, NE).

The Eagles (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Highway 91 (Leigh, NE). The come into the non-league outing with a 2-11 record. In their last outing, Highway 91 was tipped by NEN (Wisner, NE), 4-3, in a non-league outing.
