The Mount St. Mary Rockets softball team scored 3 runs and held the host Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish to 1 in the Rockets non-league win on Thursday.

The Rockets now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anadarko for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Mount St. Mary will confront a Warriors team coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 0-21.

The Fighting Irish (4-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethany (Bethany, OK). The Bronchos go into the non-league challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Bethany held off Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK), 18-8, in a non-league challenge.
