Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA), 14-1 in a league match.

The Indians (10-8) will now prepare for their match against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 6-15 record. In their last match, Rabun County was routed by Banks County (Homer, GA), 9-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. East Jackson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 7-5 league win over Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA).
