Georgia High School Softball - Lee County bounces Thomas County Central

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA) and the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA), observed Lee County's softball team prevail over Thomas County Central by a tally of 10-2.
The Trojans (14-7) will now prepare for their contest against Coffee (Douglas, GA). The Trojans enter the 5A Region 2 contest with a 15-5 record.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 10-13 record. They play next when they host Houston County for a 5A Region 2 contest on Tuesday, September 23. Thomas County Central will clash with a Bears team coming off a 3-2 league win over Veterans (Kathleen, GA). The Bears record now stands at 14-8.
