Next, the Vikings play the Crawford County Eagles (Roberta, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Taylor County will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 8-7 non-league win over John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA).

With the loss, Schley County moves to 5-8 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Marion County (Buena Vista, GA) to confront the Eagles in a 1A D-II Region 6 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 15-4. Marion County won 15-0 in their recent non-league battle against Jordan (Columbus, GA)
