The Wayne County Yellow Jackets softball team scored 21 runs and held the host Warner Robins Demons to 0 in the Yellow Jackets league win on Thursday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warner Robins for a 4A Region 1 battle on Thursday, September 18. Wayne County will confront a Demons team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA). The Demons record now stands at 8-10.

The Demons (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Wayne County toppled Ware County (Waycross, GA), 9-1, in a league challenge.
