In Thursday's league challenge, the host Nettleton Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Aberdeen Bulldogs.
The Tigers (17-11) will now prepare for their challenge against East Union (Blue Springs, MS). The Urchins come into the non-league challenge with a 25-4 record. In their last challenge, East Union beat Myrtle (Myrtle, MS), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) in a Class 3A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Aberdeen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 13-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Choctaw County (Ackerman, MS).
