North Carolina High School Volleyball - Freedom crushed by Alexander Central

In Thursday's league match, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) volleyball squad overcame the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Cougars battle the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 22. Alexander Central will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 16-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Hickory (Hickory, NC).

The Patriots (3-11) will now prepare for their match against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans enter the Northwestern 6A/7A match with a 9-6 record.
