The Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hill for a non-league bout on Monday, September 22. Lapel will confront a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Elwood (Elwood, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 12-8.

The Tigers (9-8) will now prepare for their match against Marion (Marion, IN). The Giants enter the non-league match with a 1-17 record. In their last match, Marion was outscored by Mississinewa (Gas City, IN), 3-0, in a non-league match.
