Utah High School Volleyball - St. Joseph over Altamont

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT) and the host Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT), observed St. Joseph's volleyball team top Altamont by a tally of 3-1.

The Jayhawks (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tabiona (Tabiona, UT). The Tigers enter the 1A Region 22 contest with a 5-9 record. In their last contest, Tabiona was beaten by Rich (Randolph, UT), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Longhorns meet the Rich Rebels (Randolph, UT) in a 1A Region 22 contest, on Friday, September 19. Altamont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Tintic (Eureka, UT).
