The Appomattox County Raiders prevailed the visiting Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy Ospreys volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Raiders confront the Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 20. Appomattox County will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Liberty (Bedford, VA).

The Ospreys (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA). The Chargers enter the non-league game with a 9-3 record.
