In Thursday's league challenge, the host Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Banks Braves.

The Pirates (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Warrenton (Warrenton, OR). The Warriors come into the 3A Coastal Range challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Warrenton beat Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR), 3-1, in a league test.

The Braves now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverdale for a 3A Coastal Range test on Monday, September 22. Banks will face a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR). The Mavericks record now stands at 0-7.
