Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Community Vikings/Viqueens (Unionville, TN) and the host Battle Creek Grizzlies (Spring Hill, TN), observed Community's volleyball team hold off Battle Creek by a count of 3-2.

The Vikings/Viqueens (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Tullahoma was edged by Columbia Central (Columbia, TN), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Grizzlies now own a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Battle Creek will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eagleville (Eagleville, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.
