Virginia High School Volleyball - Menchville over Bethel

The Menchville Monarchs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Bethel Bruins to 0 in the Monarchs league triumph on Thursday.

The Monarchs now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Phoebus for a Peninsula outing on Tuesday, September 23. Menchville will play a Phantoms team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Woodside (Newport News, VA). The Phantoms record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Bethel drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Hampton (Hampton, VA) to confront the Crabbers in a Peninsula game on Tuesday, September 23. The Crabbers go into the game with a record of 2-5. Hampton lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Heritage (Newport News, VA)
