Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) and the host Whitwell Tigers (Whitwell, TN), observed Bledsoe County's volleyball team top Whitwell by a tally of 3-1.

The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Tullahoma was beaten by Columbia Central (Columbia, TN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers meet the Grundy County Yellowjackets (Coalmont, TN) in a A District 5 contest, on Saturday, September 20. Whitwell will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 6-9 record after their 3-1 league win over South Pittsburg (South Pittsburg, TN).
