Maine High School Volleyball - Calais over Orono

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) and the host Orono Riots (Orono, ME), observed Calais's volleyball team top Orono by a count of 3-1.

The Blue Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Eagles go into the battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, George Stevens Academy achieved victory over Bucksport (Bucksport, ME), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Riots now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sumner for a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. Orono will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
