Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Caledonia improves its record to 16-11 on the season. The Cavaliers host Amory (Amory, MS) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 12-8. Amory won 3-0 in their recent league test against Shannon (Shannon, MS)

The Commodores now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Presbyterian Christian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. Lafayette will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-5.
