In Thursday's league challenge, the host Peninsula Seahawks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Capital Cougars.

The Seahawks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade Christian (Puyallup, WA). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Cascade Christian edged Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) in a 3A Pierce County challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Capital will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Lancers go into the game with a 6-1 record after their 3-1 league loss to North Thurston (Lacey, WA).
