Charleston Tigers (Charleston, AR) boosters were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Thaden (Bentonville, AR). The Barnstormer come into the 3A 1 challenge with a 5-5 record.

Next, the Elks meet the Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Elkins will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Gravette (Gravette, AR).
