In Thursday's league bout, the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) volleyball team knocked off the host Crestwood Red Devils (Mantua, OH), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Lakeside Dragons (Ashtabula, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 22. Kirtland will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 5-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH).
