In Thursday's league match, the Gretna Hawks (Gretna, VA) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Dan River Wildcats (Ringgold, VA), by a final score of 3-0.

The Hawks now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Altavista for a Dogwood bout on Tuesday, September 23. Gretna will clash with a Colonels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 1-5.
