In Thursday's league challenge, the host Deary Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. John Bosco Academy Patriots.

The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nezperce (Nezperce, ID). The Nighthawks come into the 1A Whitepine challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Nezperce lost by Orofino (Orofino, ID), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots play the Highland Huskies (Craigmont, ID) in a 1A Whitepine challenge, on Monday, September 22. St. John Bosco Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Colton (Colton, WA).
