In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Eunice Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Mescalero Apache Chiefs.
The Cardinals (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons enter the non-league challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Dexter beat Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Chiefs now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alamo Navajo for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Mescalero Apache will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to To'hajiilee (To'hajiilee, NM). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
