Lowndes Academy Rebels (Lowndesboro, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Evangel Christian Academy Lions (Montgomery, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lowndes Academy improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Rebels host Crenshaw Christian Academy (Luverne, AL) to meet the Cougars in a AISA A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-6.

Next, the Lions meet the Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Evangel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
