Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (9-15) will now prepare for their challenge against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees come into the non-league challenge with a 1-18 record. In their last challenge, East Fairmont lost by University (Morgantown, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Polar Bears face the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Two Rivers game, on Thursday, September 18. Fairmont Senior will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Bees go into the game with a 1-18 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV).
