In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Galesburg-Augusta Rams.

The Fighting Irish (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI). The Comets come into the Southwestern - Valley challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Kalamazoo Christian beat Constantine (Constantine, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams meet the Martin Clippers (Martin, MI) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, September 23. Galesburg-Augusta will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Clippers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Parchment (Parchment, MI).
