Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Maple Leafs (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Moline (Moline, IL). The Maroons come into the Western Big 6 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Moline went down by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 2-0, in a league test.

The Silver Streaks now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a Western Big 6 test on Tuesday, September 23. Galesburg will face a Golden Warriors squad coming off a 2-1 league win over East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 7-6.
