South Carolina High School Volleyball - Hillcrest held off by Greenville

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Greenville Red Raiders (Greenville, SC) and the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), observed Greenville's volleyball team hold off Hillcrest by a count of 3-2.

The Red Raiders (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAAAA Region 1 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, T.L. Hanna got by Easley (Easley, SC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Rams meet the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 19-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Mauldin (Mauldin, SC).
