South Carolina High School Volleyball - May River over Hilton Head Island

The May River Sharks volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks to 1 in the Sharks league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Beaufort for a AAAA Region 7 outing on Tuesday, September 23. May River will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Hilton Head Island drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC) to confront the Cougars in a AAAA Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 23. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 0-5. Colleton County lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC)
