The Lakewood Leopards volleyball squad (Roseboro, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC)

With the win, Hobbton improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to encounter the Gators in a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. The Gators go into the battle with a record of 1-14. Spring Creek lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Midway (Dunn, NC)

The Leopards now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Columbus for a Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, September 23. Lakewood will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-9.
