Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) and the visiting Hopewell Blue Devils (Hopewell, VA), observed Prince George's volleyball team top Hopewell by a count of 3-0.

The Royals (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Matoaca (Chesterfield, VA). The Warriors enter the Central contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Matoaca notched a victory over Petersburg (Petersburg, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Blue Devils now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colonial Heights for a Central battle on Tuesday, September 23. Hopewell will encounter a Colonials squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 3-5.
