In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting San Jose Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Independence 76ers.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Gunderson (San Jose, CA). The Grizzlies go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Gunderson gained a win over Hill (San Jose, CA), 3-1, in a league game.

The 76ers (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Eagles come into the BVAL - West Valley outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Oak Grove lost by Live Oak (Morgan Hill, CA), 3-0, in a league outing.
