Perrydale Pirates (Amity, OR) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Jewell Bluejays (Seaside, OR), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Perrydale advances its record to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to Western Christian (Salem, OR) to play the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 20. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Western Christian lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Santiam (Mill City, OR)

The Bluejays (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Falls City/Kings Valley Charter (Falls City, OR). The Mountaineers go into the 1A Casco game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Falls City/Kings Valley Charter went down by Chemawa Indian (Salem, OR), 3-1, in a league game.
