In Thursday's league challenge, the host Laguna Blanca Owls volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Thacher Toads.

The Owls (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunn (Los Olivos, CA). The Earwigs come into the Frontier challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Dunn beat Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Toads now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill Tech for a test on Tuesday, September 23. Thacher will face a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Santa Clara (Oxnard, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 6-8.
