The Lake Hornets were victorious over the host Scott Central Rebels volleyball team by a margin of 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

The Hornets now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Pelahatchie for a Class 2A Region 5 outing on Monday, September 22. Lake will play a Chiefs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS). The Chiefs record now stands at 0-13.

With the loss, Scott Central drops to 11-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Morton (Morton, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 20. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 12-5. Morton won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS)
